So she stops in the village and looks for the blacksmith Martin, a kind-hearted, hard-working young man who has been blind since birth. He and the princess catch each other's eye, and when she doesn't return from a dangerous journey, Martin sets out to find her. He is accompanied by a goblin, who in exchange for a sweet bun will also provide him with good advice and cheerful company.
