Cosmo Brusa Zappellini is a filmmaker from Tucson, Arizona, whose films challenge audiences' thinking on taboo topics through poetic means. Their recent film, Even Now, is an experimental documentary focusing on the experience of being an artist with chronic pain. The Veil, a collaboration with Allie Cincera, has played at multiple film festivals, including the Phoenix Film Festival, Arizona Underground Film Festival, and Nogales International Film Festival, and has won Best Student Film at the Chroma Art Film Festival.
