Nick Damici
Nick Damici (born 1959 or 1960, United States) is an American actor and screenwriter who grew up in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, of mixed Italian and Canarian descent. His mentor is actor Michael Moriarty. He has a long-standing creative partnership with director Jim Mickle, having collaborated on four films: Mulberry Street (2006), Stake Land (2010), We Are What We Are (2013), and Cold in July (2014). He is best known for his role as Mister in Stake Land (which he co-wrote) and its sequel The Stakelander (2016), and for co-developing the SundanceTV series Hap and Leonard (2016–2018) based on Joe R. Lansdale's novels. Other credits include In the Cut (2003), World Trade Center (2006), Premium Rush (2012), Late Phases (2014), and Bushwick (2017). He has received multiple Fangoria Chainsaw Award nominations and won Special Awards for Best Leading Actor and Best Hero (2014).
